PREPARING FOR THE NEXT LEVEL: HIGH SCHOOL AND BEYOND
Our head coach, Jason Guyser, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team. Coach Guyser has coached flag football for over a decade and is the head coach of Newport Harbor High School's Girls Flag Football Team.
In the inaugural CIF season of girls flag football in 2023, Coach Guyser led Newport Harbor to a 25-1 record, including a perfect 12-0 record in the Sunset League which was recognized as the toughest league in California. As a result, Newport Harbor finished the 2023 season ranked number one in the State of California.
Coach Guyser's success continued into the 2024 club season with the Seals' 10u, 12u, and 14u teams. Each team won multiple tournaments during the 2024 season. The 14u team won four out of five 14u tournaments that it entered and went 31-2-1 on the season. The 14u team finished its season by winning USA Football's The One Championship and being crowned 2024 14u National Champs.
Coach Guyser is dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential and is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for our players. Coach Guyser’s primary goal is to teach and instill physical skills and mental attributes that will maximize each player’s success on and off the field.
We are proud to have Coach Guyser leading our team and are confident that under his guidance, Seals Football will lead the way as the preeminent girls flag football club in Southern California.
